Sends SMS through the BulkSMS.com API.
Get the credentials
- Sign in at BulkSMS.com and open the account’s API settings.
- Create an API token - you receive a token ID and a token secret.
Configure EvTrack
On Configuration > Server Settings > SMS:
- Set Gateway Type to BulkSMS.com.
- Put the token ID in API ID and the token secret in API Key.
- Set From Number if your account uses a registered sender; otherwise leave it empty and BulkSMS assigns one.
- Leave Email Domain (SMS-via-Email) empty.
- Save, then use Send Test SMS with your own number. You should receive the message and see a success response next to the button.
Notes
- BulkSMS is prepaid - a valid configuration still fails to deliver when the account has no credit; the test response says so.
- Sender-ID registration rules differ per country; check the BulkSMS coverage page for the destinations you serve.
