Sends WhatsApp messages through the Twilio WhatsApp Business API.

Prerequisites at Twilio

  1. A Twilio account with WhatsApp sender registration completed for your business number.
  2. A message template created as Twilio Content and approved by WhatsApp - note its Content SID.
  3. An API key and secret (Twilio console: Account > API keys) and your Account SID.

Configure EvTrack

On Configuration > Server Settings > WhatsApp:

  1. Set Gateway to Twilio WhatsApp Business API.
  2. Set Sender Number to your WhatsApp-enabled Twilio number (international format).
  3. Fill Account SID, API Key, API Secret and Content SID.
  4. Map the template variables to the sources your approved template expects (the default mapping is company, host, start date, start time, end date, end time, access type, reason, credential).
  5. Save, then test-send to your own WhatsApp number. The message should arrive rendered with your template’s wording and the mapped values.

Notes

  • Twilio rejects sends when the template variables do not match the approved Content - the test response carries Twilio’s error code for diagnosis.
  • Conversation pricing and messaging limits are enforced on the Twilio side.
