Sends WhatsApp messages through the legacy Gupshup media gateway. Use this only for existing Gupshup enterprise accounts that have not migrated to the Multi-Platform API; new deployments should start there instead.
Configure EvTrack
On Configuration > Server Settings > WhatsApp:
- Set Gateway to Gupshup Media Gateway (Legacy).
- Set Sender Number to the registered business number (international format).
- Fill User ID, Password and the Template ID of your approved message template, all issued by Gupshup for the enterprise account.
- Map the template variables as your template expects.
- Save, then test-send to your own WhatsApp number.
Notes
- This gateway supports sending the pass QR code as media, same as the current API.
- Gupshup is sunsetting legacy media accounts over time - plan the migration to the Business API; the EvTrack switch is just the gateway selection plus the new credentials.
